Chocolate protein pancakes
Substitute regular pancakes for a delicious and nutritious option.
Ingredients (servings 5 pancakes):
• 1/3 cup of almond flour
• 1/3 cup of almind milk
• 1 scoop of chocolate whey protein (it can be also vegan protein powder)
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Mix all the ingredientsin a blender and mix for few seconds at low speed, to get an even mix.
In a small pan, over low heat, add some oil (we recommend coconut oil) and pour the mix in circle shape. Wait one minute until air bubbles begin to appear on the surface and then flip the pancake. Wait one more minute and place the pancake on a dish.
Top with some honey, peanut butter and chopped dark chocolate.
To increase the protein content in this recipe add two egg whites.
